Lebanese figures condemn Junblat statements

Chairman of the Scholars Commission in the Lebanese town of Jabal Amel, Sheikh Afif Nabulsi, on Wednesday condemned Walid Junblat's latest statements against Syria and the resistance.
"How dare some Lebanese use Washington as a launching pad to attack Syria who backed Lebanon to liberate its occupied lands?" Sheikh Nabulsi wondered in a statement, stressing that those statements came in a bid to foil and block the Lebanese dialogue.
Meanwhile, resistance bloc member at the Lebanese parliament Nawar al-Sahili also denounced Junblat's statements which came during his visit to the US.
Sahili, in a statement underlined the importance of Lebanese constructive dialogue to reach an understanding on internal issues, particularly in regards with the foreign intervention.
