IT is basic for economy, Qatar conference says

Qatari Premier Sheikh Abdullah Bin Khalifa al-Thani on Tuesday said that telecommunication equipment and information technology have become basic factors for economic and social development.
Sheikh Abdullah Al Thani, who was speaking at the International Conference for Telecommunication Development, underlined the importance of boosting efforts among governments, organizations and private sectors of narrowing the digit gap between the developed and developing countries and IT cooperations.
