Damascus bans non Arab Africans and Asians from residency

The Syrian ministry of interior issued a decision banning the stay of non-Arab workers from Asia and Africa on Syrian territories.
The Syrian official news agency (SANA) said that this decision excludes expert technicians and specialists who contracted with the private, public and joint sectors.
SANA added that the decision also excluded workers of both sexes at the embassies, consulates and UN agencies and workers at the Arab and foreign crops in the country.
The decision also provided for giving entry visas to the citizens of Malaysia and Sri Lanka and stay pass for 15 days, to be extended at request.
