Egypt shuts down Muslim Brothers paper
Egypt, Politics, 3/8/2006
Sources of the Muslim Brothers group in Egypt said on Tuesday that the government canceled the license of the Afaq Arabeyah weekly, mouthpiece of the Muslim Brothers.
The paper has been the mouthpiece of Muslim Brothers in Egypt since years despite the fact it is one of the publications of al-Ahrar (liberals) party. The Liberals party appeared with the return back of the party life to Egypt in 1977.
