Lebanese parliamentarian: Relations with Syria are Historical

Lebanese MP Kamel al-Rifaee on Monday underlined that relation with Syria is based on history, geography and common destiny, saying that officials should look at this relation from a pan-Arab interest perspective.
Rifaee criticized in a political seminar held in the Lebanese town of Temnin stances of some Lebanese parties, particularly those who disregard enmity to Israel. He called for "preserving the Lebanese national resistance which defeated aggression and liberated South Lebanon and West Bekaa."
