Saudi Arabia welcomes Hamas unconditionally

Saudi Arabia's foreign minister prince Saud al-Faisal said on Monday that his country will receive the leading figure of Hamas movement, noting that his country does not place any obstacle before them.
For his part, the French President Jacques Chirac currently visiting Sadu Arabia denied efforts impositions on the Palestinian government led by Hamas saying the accession of Hamas to power reflects the free will of the Palestinians, and stressed on the need "not to oppose this will and honoring it."
But he also called Hamas called for honoring the rule of the law "with the understanding in the world, which is giving up armed action." He also called on the Palestinian movement to recognize Israel and the agreements signed with it.
This came after Hamas rejected to bargain over its position in refusing to recognize Israel. Hamas has indicated that it is Israel that first needs to clearly state recognition of the Palestinians' rights.
