Amal Movement underlines distinguished ties with Syria
Lebanon-Syria, Politics, 3/6/2006
Head of Lebanese Amal Movement Politburo Jamil Hayek underlined Sunday that insistence to having distinguished relationship with Syria is in the interest of both countries.
"The Lebanese resistance was and is still facing the Israeli aggressions against Lebanon," Hayek said in a statement.
He underscored that Lebanon can only overcome its crisis thru national dialogue.
On the other hand, Lebanese ex-Minister Wiaam Wahab stressed that the Lebanese national resistance represents the Lebanese people's determination to stand against Israeli aggressions against their countries. "There is always a need for the resistance's weapons as long as Israel is occupying Lebanese land," he said in a statement.
Meanwhile, Lebanese Parliamentarian Abdulmajid Saleh stressed importance of the Lebanese national dialogue in enhancing the civil peace in the country.
"Lebanese have no way to solve their problems and get their country out of this crisis except by providing all appropriate political atmosphere to make the Lebanese national dialogue a success," Saleh said in a statement Sunday.
