Al-Assad invited to Cuba

Syria's President Bashar al-Assad received on Thursday a message from the Cuban President Fidel Castro including an invitation to visit Cuba and take part at the Non Aligned countries summit due to be held this year in Cuba.
Cuban Minister of Foreign Investment Marta Lomas Morales handed the invitation to Premier Naji Ottri when met her this afternoon. Talks reviewed latest developments in the regional and international arenas and bilateral cooperation, a statement for the Council of Ministers said.
