Egypt prohibits sale of live poultry in stores

Egypt's prime minister Ahmed Nazif said that there is intent to prohibit the sale of live poultry in stores to prevent spread of bird flue, and is offering assistance in loans to businesses harmed from this decision.
He said stores would be given a grace period to turn to selling and distributing frozen poultry.
