Chirac calls Mubarak on Lebanon

An Egyptian government report said that French President Jacques Chirac and Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak discussed yesterday the Middle East situation "with emphasis on the Lebanese issue."
According to Elyseé Palace sources, Chirac "underlined France's keenness to have UN SC resolution 1559 on Lebanon implemented."
