Syrian opposition refuses American financing proposal

Ten Syrian opposition groups announced rejection for an American offer to finance its activities, considering that accepting these sums will be damaging to their credibility.
A statement in the name of Damascus Declaration, which includes the ten parties, said that "the Interim committee for the coalition announces rejection for any foreign financial support from any side."
One of the cofounder of the coalition which does not include the Muslim Brothers said "our project is to make an independent national democratic change in Syria and not through occupation or economic pressures as we see what the US is doing."
