Saudi Arabia, Local, 2/25/2006

Saudi sources said that two officers in the Saudi security forces were killed during the Abqiq explosion which also resulted in killing at least of two of its executors.

The Saudi news agency quoted one source at the Saudi ministry of interior that two cars were used in the attack that tried to enter Abqiq industrial factories from one of the side entrances and when the security men suspected the two cars, and fire was exchanged and they were blown up near the entrance.

The French New Agency AFP quoted Saudi oil sources as saying that the two suicide men who tried to blow up the oil factories were wearing the uniform of the Saudi Aramco company which operates the installations. The two booby trapped cars they were riding carry the same colors as those used by the company.
