Wide Arab, international condemnation for shrine attack

World-wide condemnation continued on Wednesday over the blowing up of the Shiite shrine of Imam Ali al-Hadi. In Jeddah the organization of the Islamic Conference warned the Iraqis against being trapped into a sectarian war among the Shiite and the Sunni in Iraq.
In Iraq, the secretary general of the Arab League Amr Moussa called on the Iraqi people to challenge the acts of violence and terrorism and for self control.
Moreover, the Muslim Brothers group in Egypt called on all Iraqis to unify their ranks to prevent the sedition and the Islamic Palestinian resistance movement, Hamas, deplored the attack and condemned news stated on revenge acts against the Palestinians in Iraq.
In Lebanon, the coalition of the Muslim Scholars denounced targeting the Shiite shrine and said that sectarian explosions in Iraq are linked to the US stances in the region.
The Lebanese Shiite clergy Muhammad Hussein Fadlullah called in a statement on the Iraqi people to stand against what he called sectarianism.
The spiritual guide of the Iranian revolution Ali Khameani said that "the explosion was a political crime that were made by the intelligent forces of Iraq's occupation forces and Zionism."
Moreover, similar statements were issues from all countries in the world while Washington and London proposed to contribute to renovating the shrine.
