Bank of Jordan to open a Syrian branch
Bank of Jordan (BoJ) will set up a new branch in Syria no later than the beginning of next year after obtaining approval from the Central Bank of Syria.

Bush support UAE company's bid for six US ports
US President George W. Bush said congressional and state leaders who have expressed opposition to a deal allowing a Dubai-based company to take over administration of six major US seaports are sending "mixed messages" to the international community because a foreign-owned company from the United Kingdom previously had been running the ports.
