Iran calls Britain to withdraw forces from Basra immediately

The foreign minister of Iran, Mano Shaher Muttaqi, called on Britain to withdraw its forces from Basra in south Iraq immediately.
In a press conference following his meeting with his Lebanese peer Fawzi Salloukh, Muttaqi said that the presence of these forces in that area resulted in destabilizing the security conditions and implies negative consequences concerning what he described the risks in south Iran, noting to the waves of explosions took place in al-Ahwaz district which is located South Iran
Following the attacks which resulted in killing 8 persons in January this year, Tehran accused the British forces in Basra of collaborating with the attackers, and said it found in al-Ahwaz bombs of a type that is only used by the British army in Iraq.
