Mubarak: Hamas wants peace, has conditions

Egypt's president Hosni Mubarak called in an interview with the Israeli television on the need to avoid pessimism regarding Hamas wining the elections and their position, saying Israel should show flexibility and give the Palestinians hope that the Palestinians would gain their rights.
Mubarak called on both sides to work for peace, and he criticized Israel's stance to not transfer Palestinians money that belong to them, saying this will only serve to radicalize the Palestinians.
He said if the Palestinian Authority is deprived of these funds, the Palestinian people would be hurt and would turn moderates into extremists.
Mubarak said Egypt's relations with Israel is normal and the two are cooperating on security and stability.
Meantime, regarding the Lebanese resistance, Mubarak said Hizbullah would be transformed into a purely political party and there would be no room for resistance if Shabaa Farms are is returned to Lebanon and the borders are demarcated.
