Demonstration in Egypt protests against cartoons offending prophet Muhammad
Egypt-Regional, Politics, 2/14/2006
Thousands of Egyptian students from al-Azhar University demonstrated Monday to protest against cartoons published by some European newspapers depicting Prophet Muhammad as a terrorist, demanding Arab and Islamic countries boycott all products produced by countries allowing publishing the cartoons.
"This offense comes within an organized propaganda targeting Islam and Islamic principles," a student told SANA.
