Riad al-Turk refused meeting Khaddam

Riad al-Turk retuned to Damascus this week from Paris, where he was invited by Syria's former and defected vice president Abdul Halim Khaddam, who has recently signed an accord with the Muslim Brothers, to meet. Turk refused the meeting.
Joshua Landis, an American journalist specialized in Middle East affairs thinks it was out of personal conviction. Turk has been meeting with the Muslim Brothers.
