UAE president appoints new government led by Muhammad bin Rashid al-Maktoum

President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Khaleifa Bin Zayed al-Nahyan on Thursday approved the formation of a new government chaired by Sheikh Muhammad Bin Rashid al-Maktoum who succeeded his brother Sheikh Maktoum who died on January 4th.
An official source said that the new government is composed of 22 ministers including 8 assuming ministerial posts for the first time. The new formation is characterized by appointing the minister of information whose term of office expired Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed al-Nahyan as a foreign minister.
The new government will take its constitutional oath before the President during the few coming days. The following is the names of the new ministers and their posts:
The prime minister: Sheikh Muhammad Bin Rashid al-Maktoum, the vice president and ruler of Dubai;
The deputy prime minister: Sheikh Sultan Bin Zayed al-Nahyan;
The deputy prime minister: Sheikh Hamdan Bin Zayed al-Nahyan
The defense minister: Sheikh Muhammad bin Rashid al-Maktoum
The minister of finance and industry: Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid al-Maktoum
Minister of the Interior: Lt. Sheikh Seif Bin Zayed al-Nahyan
Minister for presidential affairs: Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed al-Nahyan
The foreign minister Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed al-Nahyan
The minister of higher education and scientific research Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak al-Nahyan
Minister of public works Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mubarak al-Nahyan
Minister of economy Ms. Sheikha Lubna Bint Khaled al-Qasimi;
Minister of justice Muhammad Bin Nakhira al-Zahiri
Minister of state for industrial and financial affairs Muhammad Khalfan Bin Kharbash
Minister of energy Muhammad bib Zaein al-Hamili;
Minister of labor Ali Bin Abdullah al-Kaabi;
Minister of government sector recruitment Sultan Bin Saeed al-Mansouri;
Minister of state for the Cabinet affairs Muhammad Abdullah al-Qarqawi;
Minister of state for foreign affairs Muhammad saeed al-Shaali
Minister of social affairs Ms Mariam Muhammad Khalfan al-Roumi
Minister of education Hanif Hassan Ali
Minister of state for the national council affairs Anwar Muhammad Qarqash
Health minister Hamid Muhammad Obeid al-Qutami,
