Al-Thawra: Syrian oil output to drop

Syria's oil production would most likely fall to 397,000 bpd in 2006, compared with 414,000 bpd in 2005, according to Oil Minister Ebrahim Haddad. He told al-Thawra newspaper that Syria is exploring for new fields to compensate for output declines.
