Spanish agency to offer grant to eastern region

The Spanish Agency for International Cooperation AECI announced Wednesday plans to develop the eastern region in Syria through a grant scheduled to be offered to the region.
Coordinator of the AECI in Syria, Jose Navarro, called Deir al-Zour governor Khaled al-Ahmed in a meeting to make a studies of the needed projects to be included in the grant scheduled to be given to the eastern region of Syria.
"The grant aims to improve the local capabilities of the governorate and to contribute to consolidate ties between Syria and Spain," Navarrou quoted as telling the governor.
The governor had reviewed with the Spanish official situation of services in the region and its needs to progress projects of water sewage deflation and stations of treating sewage water in addition to developing work at cities councils, towns and municipalities.
