Al-Ahram: Lebanon is at a crossing point
Lebanon, Politics, 2/9/2006

The current moment is historic regarding differentiating between those who want to rebuild and reform Lebanon and others who only seek revenge, personal interests or serve foreign parties, Egyptian newspaper al-Ahram said Wednesday.

The paper strongly criticized in its Wednesday editorial the course some Lebanese pursued recently, saying "it shows a great irresponsibility over Lebanon's future, national unity and stability."

Al-Ahram called upon all Lebanese to put the public interest of their country as well as their national unity above all other personal interest, personal or sectarian considerations to make Lebanon overcome its current crisis.
