Defense minister receives public Jordanian delegation

Syria's Minister of Defense Lieutenant General Hassan Turkmani on Monday received a Jordanian public delegation who stressed that they came to Syria to express their peoples solidarity with her in facing the campaign of pressures and threats.
Members of the delegation voiced high appreciation of Syria's honorable stances under the leadership of President Bashar al-Assad. They stressed that al-Assad "embodies by his national and pan-Arab stances the hopes and aspirations of the Arab Nation in defense of her legitimate issues and confronting plots that target the Arabs and Moslems future."
Lieut. Gen. Turkmani thanked the Jordanian delegation for their "noble stances which represent sincere and pan-Arab feelings and emotions and real belonging to the Arab Nation."
