Syrian official source condemns caricature in Danish papers

Syria was shocked by the caricature which was published by one of the Danish newspapers that constitutes a big offense to the Arab prophet Mohammed, Syrian official source at Foreign Ministry announced Sunday.

The source stressed that Syria vehemently condemned touching the sublime symbol of the two Arab and Islamic nations, asserting that respect of symbols and values is giving the Arab and Islamic civilization its human nature and forms a main pillar of the civilizations interaction and dialogue on the human common values.

The source added that Syria called upon the Danish government to take the necessary measures to punish those offenders, ensuring that such offenses are not repeated in the future.
