Larijani: Russia's proposal does not meet Iran's energy demands
Iran-Russia, Politics, 1/27/2006
Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) Ali Larijani today said that Russia's proposal on production of Iran's required nuclear fuel inside its soil does not fully respond to Iran's nuclear energy demands, IRNA reported.
Speaking to reporters upon arrival at Mehrabad Airport, he added that the proposed plan cannot fully respond to Iran's nuclear requirements.
"It should rather be considered along with other proposed schemes, given that it cannot be dismissed as negative. Therefore, we believe that the proposal can be revised to become more complete. One round of talks have been held and the second one is expected to take place in future" he added.
