Al-Gomhoriya: US works to end Syria- Lebanon ties

Egyptian paper al-Gomhoriya noted on Wednesday that "the US administration was not missing any chance to end any bid to strengthen the Syrian-Lebanese ties to serve Israel and its aggressive schemes in the region."

In its main commentary, al-Gomhoriya said that "the UN Security Council has put in light of its new move towards Lebanon additional hinders before sincere efforts aimed at strengthening relations between Syria and Lebanon and among the Lebanese themselves."
