Syrian citizens of Golan underline commitment to national unity

Syrian citizens of Golan have emphasized on Wednesday they are part and parcel of the Syrian Arab people expressing at the same time adherence to the national unity and genuine consistency with their leadership in Syria.

In a statement, they announced their "clear stand against all conspiracies and conspirators against their motherland and leadership embodied in national festivals and many statements issued in this respect."

The statement voiced the citizens of Golan "pride and confidence in the leadership of President Bashar al-Assad that represents the homeland pride and dignity as well the dignity of honorable men in the Arab world."

"They saluted all honorable men and those resisting the occupation in Lebanon and Palestine asserting that the weapon of the resistance constitutes the Arabs dignity and honor at a time where all standards are mixed and where the logic of force prevailed."

Syrian citizens of Golan called at the end of their statement their "brothers in Lebanon to remember the sacrifices offered by Syria for Lebanon and the blood of Syrian martyrs that is mixed with blood of their Lebanese counterparts noting that this has restored to Lebanon his civil peace and saying that Syria's big heart embraces all Arab brethrens as well Lebanese."
