al-Jazeera: Bin Laden address to the USA
Regional-USA, Politics, 1/20/2006

The leader of al-Qaida organization Osama Bin Laden in his voice recording dating Zee al-Qaida month ( Islamic Hijra month calendar ), which falls December 2005, threatened to launch more attacks against the USA.

Bin Laden also responded to what he said the contradictions of the US President George W. Bush in reading results of the opinion polls on the withdrawal of the American forces from Iraq, in that the US public wants withdrawal out of Iraq.

Bin Ladin made the offer in voice recording broadcast by al-Jazeera satellite TV.

Bin Laden also proposed a long-running truce under "fair terms" to the American people, so as the "two sides to enjoy security and stability and in order to build Iraq and Afghanistan which were destroyed by the war."

Bin Laden said that "there is no shame in this solution only that it deprives what he described as "influential and war traders from hundreds of billions of dollars (in profits)."

To confirm that he does not propose the truce from a point of weakness, the leader of al-Qaida organization said that the delay in the occurrence of attack operations similar to those that took place in Europe "was not because it was not possible to penetrate into your security measures. Operations are under preparations and you will see them in your places when they are completed."

Bin Laden tried to refute justifications made by Bush not to respond with the desire of the American people for withdrawal from Iraq under the pretext that doing so, according to Bush, will send a wrong message to the enemies, concentrating on the statement of the American president "fighting the enemies on their land is better than fighting them on our lands."

To confirm what he called contradictions of Bush, Bin Laden said in his message that the "war in Iraq is flaming and the operations in Afghanistan are escalated continuously towards our interests, thanks God. The figures of the Pentagon indicate the increase number in your killing and wounding, in addition to huge financial losses, besides the collapse of the morale of soldiers there and the increase rate of those who commit suicide there."
