Egypt: Syria cooperated with UN investigation

Syria has cooperated with the UN investigation committee into the assassination of Lebanese former Premier Rafiq al-Hariri, the official Spokesman of the Egyptian Presidency Suleiman Awad said Tuesday.
Awad, in statements following talks between Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak and US Vice-President Dick Cheney, added that viewpoints were identical on the importance of exerting efforts to unveil the truth behind the Hariri assassination and to keep security and stability of Syria and Lebanon.
