Al-Qassam leader in Toulkarem assassinated

Lebanese security sources announced that the Israeli occupation forces assassinated today at dawn Thabet Ayad ( 24 year old) the commander of Ezz Eddine Al-Qassam Groups, the military wing of the Islamic resistance movement Hamas in Toulkarem area north of the West Bank.
A large Israeli force broke into the city today at dawn and launched a campaign of arrest that covered several Hamas activists. One Israeli soldier was injured during the breaking in operation.
The political leader for Hamas in Toulkarem, Rifat Nasef, accused Israel of seeking to bomb the informal calm agreement and hinted of revenge to these acts. He said "this crime was committed at a time Hamas is attached to ease down tension and "The aim is to violate the ease down.. we will not keep silence."
On the other hand, the Palestinian prime minister Ahmad Qurei called for removing the Israeli barriers in all areas of the West Bank and to stop "all forms of assassination and detention acts, in order to provide a success for the legislative elections," due on January 25.
