Libya remembers Jamal Abdul Nasser

JANA reported noted that Sunday the 15th of January marked "the 88th anniversary of the birth of the immortal leader Jamal Abdul Nasser. On this same day of the month of January 1918 the hero Jamal Abdul Nasser one of the heroes of modern Arab-African history was born and who led the 23rd of July Revolution in Egypt that had liberated it from foreign presence on its territories and from the servitude of feudalism in the meantime realizing several achievements to the Egyptian people and where Egypt had assumed an important role at the national and African level as well as its support to the struggle of the people in the Third World at that time to be liberated from colonialism."

JANA added "Celebrating the birth of the immortal hero Jamal Abdul Nasser embodies the true expression of loyalty by Africans as one of the fathers and founders who dreamed of the Unity of Africa that has become a reality by the establishment of the great African Union due to instigations and tireless efforts made by the Leader of the Revolution (Muammar al-Qathafi)."
