No cooperation with US and Israel against Syria: Gul

Turkish Foreign Minister Abdullah Gul denied reports of cooperation between his country, the US and Israel against Syria, saying that visits of some US and Israeli officials to Turkey have no relation to ties between Turkey and each of Syria and Iran.

Ties which link Syria and Turkey are very good. "Syria is a friendly and neighboring country and we are linked with her by historical relations," Gul added in a press interview published in Beirut on Thursday, and "We are exchanging viewpoints with the Syrian Leadership frankly on issues that concern the two countries" SANA reported.
