Rice continues threats against Syria
Syria-Lebanon-USA, Politics, 1/12/2006

The US, thru its secretary of state Condaleezza Rice, threatened Syria to bring its file to the UN Security Council unless it fully and unconditionally cooperates with the UN investigation into the assassination of Rafiq al-Hariri.

Rice stressed her stand and encouraged the demands of the Lebanese people to refuse any deals or settlements that undermine or weaken the investigation or those exempting Syria from its obligations towards the UN Security Council.
