Abul Gheit talks with US Secretary of State

Egypt said Foreign Minister Ahmed Abul Gheit received a phone call from US State Secretary Condoleezza Rice regarding Syrian-Lebanese crisis affirming that Egypt's role in this issue is to "clear the air" between Syria and Lebanon while "preserving the brotherly ties" between them.
