National campaign for empowerment women politicaly

Farkhanda Hassan, the NCW Secretary-General in Egypt, proposed during the expanded meeting on Tuesday with officials of political parties, non-governmental organizations and senior intellectuals to "discuss means of empowering Egyptian women in the political and parliamentary fields, launching a national campaign to allow women to participate fairly in parliamentary life through holding a roundtable to be attended by representatives of the institutions concerned."
The government added that "The proposal will be referred, in its final form, to the President of the Republic, the Prime Minister, the Minister of Justice, the People's Assembly and the Shura Council."
