Iraqi authorities accuse US army of killing civilians

The Iraqi authorities in the north of Salah Eddine governorate accused the American air force of killing several Iraqi civilians in a bombardment that targeted a house on Monday evening in Beji area.

The chairman of Beji police, Sufian Mustafa Assad, said that the planes hit the house of Ghadban Nahi in the industrial zone, noting that many persons were reported as killed. He added that the house where 14 persons were living was destroyed completely.

The governor of Salah eddine Hamad al-Qeisi deplored the attack, stressing that he will call for an official investigation in " this deplored crime." For its part, the American forces said it does not know anything about this attack and it will look into reports to this effect.
