Iraqi elections review team heads to Iraq

Concerning the issue of settling the results of the elections, a UN delegation will be arriving in Baghdad to take part in finding a solution for the crisis that resulted from the announcement of the partial results by the elections commissions, and the vast objections showed by the Sunni forces and certain secular Shiite forces.
The team including four members: two members are two senior officials from the Arab League, a former Canadian parliamentarian and a university teacher representing the European Union.
The team will work independently apart from the commission, and audit its work by testing samples from the voting ballots and inspecting the processes of selecting and counting of votes" according to the director general of the elections higher commission Adel al-Lami.
