Two American soldiers killed in Iraq

The American army announced the killing of two of its soldiers in Iraq, noting in a statement that one of them was killed on Friday in a bomb explosion in Baghdad and the second died because wounds he had during fighting operations in Falluja on Thursday.
Thereby, number of American soldiers killed in Iraq increased to 2174 since the invasion of this country in March 2003, according to the figures of the Pentagon.
In another development, six Iraqis were killed and other 23 injured in two explosions, one was a result of a booby trapped car and the second a mortar shelling falling on a garage for passengers transport in al-Kifah street in the center of Baghdad. The police said that the booby trapped car targeted a police vehicle in which three Iraqis were killed, while the mortars shelling fell in a popular café and this resulted in killing three Iraqis and injuring 21. The two explosions resulted in several damages in several cars and buildings surrounding the explosion site.
In the south of Baghdad, one Iraqi police man was killed and two others injured in a bomb explosion implanted on the road side targeted their vehicle in Alexandria area.
