Ten Egyptian villagers dismembered
Egypt, Local, 12/30/2005
Egyptian police sources said that ten persons from three families were killed and their bodies were dismembered in Shams Eddine village in Almenya governorate in Upper Egypt.
The sources ruled out the traditional causes for such crimes in the Egyptian rural area, or revenge or the conflict over lands or revenge for honor or even sectarian violence between Christian and Muslims.
One source expected a mentally disturbed individual to have killed them since the bodies was brutally dismembered. The victims hands and legs were cut.
