Arab Transitional Parliament meeting concludes deliberations

Arab Transitional Parliament (ATP) on Wednesday wrapped up deliberations of its first session held at the Cairo-based Arab League in the presence of the Syrian Peoples Assembly delegation headed by its Speaker Mahmoud al-Abrash.

Al-Abrash, in an interposition at the final session, underlined the importance of focusing on basic issues which embody ambitions of the Arab people to achieve prosperity in the economic, political and social fields.

Participants at the ATP meetings issued a final statement stressing that establishing the ATP is considered an important step on the way of democracy and an additional value to the Arab joint action.

They added that the Parliament represents a turning point that boosts Arab solidarity and the Arab joint action.

They thanked Syria for hosting the permanent place of the Arab Transitional Parliament.
