Chad accuses Sudan of preparing attack on it

Chad's president accused Sudan of preparing for a new attack to be launched by rebellious Chad groups based from the Sudanese lands.

Idris deibi said in conclusion of a meeting that lasted two hours with the President of Central Africa, Francois Buzizi, on Monday that Sudan sent a convoy of 50 military vehicle to al-Jenina area west of Sudan, expressing his concern that such movements will lead to destabilizing also the Republic Of Central Africa.

The president of Chad called for the convening of a meeting for the presidents of the economic and monetary group of the countries of central Africa(Cameroon, Congo, Gabon, Genea and Chad) before the African Union summit due to be held in Sudan on January 23 and 24.

For his part Buzizi vowed to make all possible efforts in order to remove tensions overwhelming the two countries. He added after returning back home after a quick visit to Chad "When Chad is damaged, there will be consequences for the Republic Of Central Africa."
