Inter- Lebanese differences continue

The pace of differences between the Lebanese government, on the one hand, and each of the Hizbullah party and the Free National Trend led by Michel Aawn, on the other.
The Lebanese political forces which is known as Bristol Gathering forces, issued after a plenary meeting in Beirut on Monday a statement calling for fortifying the internal situation. A matter which requires launching a large scale dialogue among all social strata and sides, especially the Free National Trend. It also called for a dialogue with the Hizbullah and the Amal movement especially after these two groups suspended participation of their ministers in the government.
These forces stressed demand to the resignation of the Lebanese President Emil Lahoud and announced launching what it called "the uprising of freedom in completion of the Independence Intifada," in remarks to the acts of protest which resulted in the withdrawal of the Syrian forces from Lebanon following the assassination of Rafiq al-Hariri.
Hizbullah rejected the Bristol initiative. Its deputy secretary general Sheikh Naeem Qasem said that the government of Fouad Sinioura committed grave mistakes and many of its sides contributed to disseminating seeds of provocation, stressing that its party refuses to sign decisions it does not believe in.
Michel Aawn held the government responsible for the lack of efforts to ensure security, calling for a national dialogue in order to reach "common national denominator" and propose a perspective to get out of the crisis overwhelming the country.
In conclusion of its weekly meeting on Tuesday, the Free National Trend issued a statement in which it called for an urgent and clear plan to face the schemes of explosions and assassinations "targeting national stability."
