OIC warns against putting pressures on Syria

Secretary General of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu has warned against politicizing the issue of the assassination of former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafiq al-Hariri in order to put pressures on Syria and to find pretexts to foreign interference in the region.
In a statement to Tunisian al-Shorouq newspaper published Tuesday, Ihsanoglu stressed the important role of the OIC in dealing with this issue, calling for accelerating the investigation to reach the truth.
