Russian official criticizes pressures on Syria

Chairman of the Information and Analysis Center at Russia's Foreign Ministry, Vladimir Ivanov rejected Thursday pressures on Syria, warning against repercussions of such pressures in the regional arena.
In a symposium organized by Egyptian agency MENA in Cairo, Ivanov harshly criticized talking about imposing sanctions on Syria, rejecting all unproved accusations against the country regarding the assassination of Lebanese ex-premiere Rafiq al-Hariri.
