Zawahri: Bin Laden leads al-Qaida; organization is growing
Regional, Politics, 12/7/2005

The second ranking man in the al-Qaida organization, Ayman al-Zawahiri, said that the leader of the organization Osama Bin Laden is alive and is leading the Jihad (struggle) and that al-Qaida is growing and its force is increasing, as he alleged.

In a video tape on the Internet, Zawahiri said that "thanks to the Almighty God, al-Qaida has been transferred into a people's organization that challenges the Zionist Crusaders campaign in all Muslim usurped lands."

Worthy mentioning that the last time Zawahiri made an appearance was in October when he urged Muslims to help the victims of the earthquake in Pakistan.
