Two Syrian officials interrogated in Vienna
Al-Jazeera satellite TV in Vienna said that investigations were completed with two of the Syrian officials in the case of the assassination of the former Lebanese prime minister Rafi al-Hariri. They are the former chief of the Syrian intelligence in Lebanon Roustom Ghazaleh and his assistant Jame Jame.

The US has condemned Nathania Israeli attack operation. The spokesman for the US state department Adam Early called on the Palestinian authority to take measures immediately in order to prevent the occurrence of "similar" operations and put an "end to violence and to dismantle the infrastructure of terrorism."

Civic societies and associations on Monday staged a sit- in at the "tent of the homeland" in al-Rawda Square in Damascus to show support to Syria's national and pan-Arab stances and rejection of the campaigns and pressures on the country. The participants in the sit-in carried national flags and photos of President Bashar al-Assad as well as banners that express condemnation of threats against Syria. Go
