Egypt: International oil companies to double investments

"The biggest 7 international oil companies operating in Egypt said they would double their investments in the field of prospecting for oil and natural gas," said Minister of Petroleum Sameh Fahmi.
A government report quoted him saying" following his meetings with Chairmen of British Gas, Apache, British Petroleum, Dutch Shell, Italian Eni and Malaysian Petronas, Fahmi said there is great potential to invest in the oil and natural gas sectors."
