15 teenagers protesting unemployment arrested in Bahrain
Bahrain, Politics, 12/3/2005
The Bahrain news agency said on Friday that the Bahraini police arrested 15 young men in the third day of clashes with angry Bahrainis, because of the harassment one of the activist was exposed to on Sunday as he had organized a demonstration against unemployment.
The agency attributed a source in the ministry of interior saying that "some 80 persons gathered in al-Sanabis on Thursday evening, and they were warned to be dispersed immediately over the fact that the gathering was illegal, but they did not obey, and started to throw stone on the security men. This forced the authorities to arrest 15 of them, aging between 13 and 15 year old."
