Lebanese detainees in Hariri assassination seek release
Lebanon-Syria-UN, Politics, 12/3/2005

Former Director General of Lebanese General Security, Maj. Gen. Jamil al-Syed's lawyer, Akram Azouri, has accused the Lebanese government and the UN Investigation Commission investigating the assassination of former Lebanese Prime Minister, Rafiq Hariri, of violating UN Security Council Resolution 1595.

In a press conference he held in Beirut on Friday, Azouri said that violations for which the commission is responsible was "non commitment to the secrecy of the investigations in two occasions: first by announcing intention to storm two apartments in advance and the second in demanding lifting the bank secrecy off the accounts of a number of people."
