Several nationalities kidnapped in Iraq
Iraq, Local, 11/30/2005

An unidentified group calling itself "Saraya Seyouf al-Haq" (rightful swords groups) announced in a taped recording that it arrested four foreigners it described as the spies of occupation working under what it called the cover of "Christian peace team."

The tape shows pictures of the four kidnapped and their identity. They are believed to be two Canadians, one British and one American, their countries admitted they had disappeared since several days in Iraq.

One German archeologist called Suzanne Ostov and her driver were kidnapped in Ninwa north of Iraq. The German TV station RDA said that it received a televised tape for the kidnappers of the hostage threatening to kill her if Berlin does not stop its cooperation with the Interim Iraqi government.

Worthy mentioning that Ostov has been living in Iraq since 10 years. She is in her 40s and she embraced Islam.

The German Chancellor Angela Miracle called on the kidnappers to release the hostage immediately and strongly deplored the operation.

The Iraqi police stressed the release of two Iranian women and their Iraqi woman guide in Tikrit on Tuesday while other four Iranians are still held.
